Chester Theatre Council Society owns and operates the Chester playhouse, the society's aim is to promote and develop the performing arts. Approximately one hundred performances throughout the year are offered by the theatre, such as popular concerts, comedy's, touring theatre, dance, readings and lectures, community rentals and world premiere theatre productions.
Co-productions and local performers are encouraged by Chester Playhouse productions, Artists from across Canada and around the world are showing their talents during the Chester Summer Festival of Performances. The theatre has a capacity to accommodate 176 people along with dressing rooms, Green room and also a workshop for creating props and sets.

This pub is not only a pub but it is a place of remembrance, the pub is a tourist attraction and is an influence on popular culture and a focus to community life and acts as a social centre.
In Spitfire Arms you can see Royal Canadian Air Force uniforms, 1950's Medalta dinnerware of R.C.A.F, a rare AC Delco T2 bomb site and several electrical items from the Super marine Spitfire. Displays also includes Commonwealth aircraft, recovered items from several crash sites etc.
The items donated by customers and veterans are also displayed here, there is a Flying Officer's Mess that is open on the second floor for any special event.
