Kings theatre is located at Annapolis Royal in Nova Scotia, the aim of the theatre is to encourage cultural, artistic and educational development, the theatres activities include live performing arts, commercial and alternative film screenings. The seating capacity of the theatre is 179 seats, each year the King's Theatre has an average of 50-70 live shows and shows about 120 films, the King's theatre is supported by the Department of Education and Culture in the Nova Scotia province. Members of the King's film society provides an opportunity to take part in choosing titles, and publishing reviews of all the films.

| The Mermaid Theatre. |

The Mermaid theatre is the most respected theatres in North America, the Mermaid theatre received the Export Excellence Awards to recognize the contributions to culture and the economy of the Province, it also received an award from the Canadian Arts Presenting Association for Best Performing Group, the Mermaid theatre performs unique adaptations of children's literature.
The Mermaid Theatre consists of a rehearsal hall, production and administrative studios and has a seating capacity for 400 people, there is a 60 seat second stage for the community and touring artists, film crews and also for three commercial tenants, the theatre gives prominence to imaginative design elements, challenging texts and original music.

| Chester Playhouse. |

Chester Theatre Council Society owns and operates the Chester playhouse, the society's aim is to promote and develop the performing arts and has about one hundred performances throughout the year, such as popular concerts, comedies, touring theatres, dance, readings and lectures, community rentals, world premiere theatre productions and so on.
Co-productions and local performers are encouraged by the Chester Playhouse productions, Artists from across Canada and all around the world are show casing their talents during the Chester Summer Festival. The theatre has a capacity to accommodate 176 people along with dressing rooms, Green room and also has a workshop for creating props and sets.

| Lunenburg Opera House. |

Lunenburg Opera House is an important landmark which situated in the centre Lunenburg in Nova Scotia, the Opera house is built with local timbers and is constructed according to the style of European music halls in compliance with the town's architectural traditions. The opera house is under renovation and is expected to reopen by January 2009, the opera house even has a projection booth and movie screen for showing films, the opera house will offer music, theatre and film presentations along with business and social events which take place throughout the year.

| Halifax Feast Dinner Theatre. |

The theatre is located at the corner of Barrington and Salter Streets in the Maritime Centre, the Halifax Feast Dinner Theatre is within a short distance of hotels and bars, the theatre is away from the crowd and noise of downtown. The Halifax Feast Dinner Theatre is specially designed with dining rooms, the decoration is in a theatrical style. The theatre comprises of a large stage area which has wonderful views from each seat, the first floor of the Maritime Centre has wheel chair access for disabled visitors.
